New SmartDollar users receive a short onboarding email series designed to help you understand and get the most out of your employer-provided financial wellness benefit.
Because these onboarding emails are part of the account setup experience, they cannot be unsubscribed from individually.
When can I unsubscribe from SmartDollar emails?
Once the onboarding series is complete, you’ll be able to unsubscribe from future SmartDollar marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in those messages.
Please note that it can take up to five days for your email preferences to update.
What if I no longer want to use SmartDollar?
If you’re no longer using SmartDollar and would prefer not to receive future emails, the team may be able to help deactivate your SmartDollar account.
Keep in mind that deactivating your account may not prevent future invitation emails if you’re still included in your employer’s SmartDollar eligibility list.
How to stop future invitation emails
If you continue receiving SmartDollar invitation emails after deactivation, contact your HR or benefits team.
Your employer or organization manages the eligibility list, so they are the best team to help remove you from future invitations.
