SmartDollar is designed to help you and your household work toward your money goals together.
A spouse may be able to access some parts of your Ramsey account as part of your household. However, household access does not apply to SmartDollar sign-in access. Only the email address used to enroll in SmartDollar can sign in directly to SmartDollar.
What is a household?
A household connects you and your spouse so you can use some Ramsey apps together.
This can help you both stay on the same page as you work through the Baby Steps, watch lessons, use tools, and make progress with your money.
Can my spouse use SmartDollar?
Your spouse can use some parts of SmartDollar with you, but they won’t be able to sign in to SmartDollar directly unless their email address is the one connected to the SmartDollar benefit.
Once spouse access is added, your spouse may be able to access some benefits, such as EveryDollar, through their own Ramsey account.
How to add spouse access
- Sign in to your Ramsey account.
- Go to your account or household settings.
- Look for the option to invite or add a spouse.
- Enter your spouse’s email address.
- Follow the prompts to send the invitation.
Once your spouse accepts the invitation, they’ll be able to access some shared Ramsey benefits through their own Ramsey account.
Already have a Ramsey account?
If your spouse already has a Ramsey account, they should use the email address and password connected to that account when accepting the invitation.
Running into issues?
Here are a few things to check if your spouse is having trouble accepting the invitation:
- If your spouse doesn’t receive the invitation, have them check their spam or junk folder.
- If the invitation link doesn’t work, try sending a new invitation.
