If you no longer want access to SmartDollar, the team can help deactivate your SmartDollar access.
Deactivating SmartDollar access removes your ability to use the SmartDollar benefit connected to your account. This does not necessarily delete your Ramsey account or remove access to other Ramsey products you may use.
Before you start
Before requesting deactivation, here are a few things to know:
- SmartDollar access is usually connected to an employer or organization benefit.
- Deactivating SmartDollar access does not automatically delete your Ramsey account.
- If your SmartDollar access is provided through your employer, you may want to check with your HR or benefits team before requesting deactivation.
- Deactivating your SmartDollar account may not stop future invitation emails if you’re still listed as eligible through your employer.
- If you want to delete your Ramsey account completely, let the team know so they can point you in the right direction.
How to request deactivation

- Let the team know you’d like to deactivate your SmartDollar access.
- Include the email address connected to your SmartDollar account.
- Follow any additional prompts from the team.
Once your request is reviewed, the team can help deactivate your SmartDollar access.
