Change Email Address

You can change the email address tied to your Ramsey account. This change affects access to Ramsey products connected to your login, including SmartDollar, EveryDollar, Financial Peace University, the Ramsey Network App, EntreLeadership, and more.

Before you start

Before updating your email address, make sure your new email address is not already connected to another free or paid Ramsey account.

How to change your email address

  1. Click here.
  2. Sign in to your Ramsey account.
  3. On the Overview page, go to the Security section.
  4. Click Manage Security.
  5. Under Email Address, click Change Email Address.
  6. Enter your current password.
  7. Click Verify Password.
  8. Enter your new email address.
  9. Click Send Email.
  10. Check your inbox for the verification email.
  11. Click the verification link in the email.

Once you click the verification link, your email address change is complete.

Running into issues?

Here are a few things to check if you’re having trouble changing your email address:

  • If your new email address is already in use, contact the team with your current email address and the email address you’d like to use.
  • If you’ve lost access to your current email address, contact the team so they can help.
  • If there’s a typo in your account email address, contact the team so they can help get it sorted out.
