You don't. Seriously!
That's why there's not a Certificate of Completion. As long as money is a part of your life, you'll want to keep engaging with the program. SmartDollar helps you build a life-long discipline to win with your money.
Our hope is that after watching all of the Course videos, you will continue to come back to the site to put this new information into action. You can update your monthly EveryDollar budget, attack your Debt Snowball, Read articles, Watch videos, Listen to audio clips, or engage the Action Items to help you accelerate your Baby Steps progress. Sometimes your circumstances may change and cause you to repeat a Baby Step or review your financial goals. So, from our point of view, you never really complete the program. As long as your employer provides SmartDollar, you can keep learning about how to win with your money - for a lifetime!
Some employers may offer incentives to reach a certain level within the program. It may be watching all of the Course videos or earning a certain number of points. Employers receive regular reports that list all of the employees and their progress. You will need to check with your HR team to determine what they consider your "completed" or "achieved" goal.
We recommend watching all of the Course videos. Then, work through the Baby Steps in numerical order. Make sure not to skip any of the steps. As you're working on each Baby Step, check the box that says "I'm on this Baby Step" so the box turns green. Please note that Baby Step 7 is not an endpoint but an ongoing process of Building Wealth and Giving for a lifetime.
Keep up the good work!
