How Do I Sign Up for SmartDollar?

SmartDollar is a financial wellness benefit offered through participating employers and organizations. If your employer or organization provides SmartDollar, you can create your account and start using your benefit in just a few steps.

Sign up through your employer or organization

If your employer or organization offers SmartDollar, you may receive a sign-up link or instructions from them.

  1. Open the SmartDollar sign-up link provided by your employer or organization.
  2. Enter the requested information to verify your eligibility.
  3. Create your Ramsey account or sign in with an existing Ramsey account.
  4. Follow the prompts to finish setting up your SmartDollar account.

Once your account is created, you’ll be able to access SmartDollar and start using the tools and resources included with your benefit.

Sign up with an invitation link

Some organizations send SmartDollar invitation links by email.

  1. Open the invitation email from your employer, organization, or SmartDollar.
  2. Click the sign-up link in the email.
  3. Follow the prompts to create your account or sign in.
  4. Complete any remaining setup steps.

If the link has expired or doesn’t work, contact your employer or organization for an updated link.

Already have a Ramsey account?

If you already have a Ramsey account, you may be able to use the same login information for SmartDollar.

  1. Go to the SmartDollar sign-up page or open your organization’s sign-up link.
  2. Choose the option to sign in.
  3. Enter the email address and password connected to your Ramsey account.
  4. Follow the prompts to connect your SmartDollar benefit.

Be sure to use the email address connected to your Ramsey account so your access links correctly.

Here are a few things to check if you’re having trouble signing up:

  • If your employer or organization isn’t recognized, double-check the name or contact your HR or benefits team for the correct SmartDollar sign-up instructions.
  • If your invitation link isn’t working, ask your employer or organization for a new link.
