If you're being asked for your Date of Birth or the last four of your SSN, that means that your company has asked us to verify your identity before letting you sign up. If you're getting an error message about any of those, it could mean one of the following is happening:
- Your information isn't in the system yet. This is the most common reason for newer employees. This one usually will resolve itself, typically your company just needs some more time to get that info over to us. Once they do, you'll be able to sign up.
- You have already created a SmartDollar account sometime in the past with a different email address. Reach out to our Customer Success Team by clicking Submit a request at the top or bottom of this page.
- The information your entering doesn't match what your company has on file for you. Again, emailing our Customer Success Team is your best way to check and see if this is the problem.
